October 1965	At the age of 44, the merchant Fritz Borges (+1989) founds the "Fritz Borges Metallwarenfabrik" in Harenberg near Hannover. At first only pipes are produced, but only a short time later silencers for the commercial vehicle brands Mercedes Benz, Hanomag and Henschel are added to the production range.
May 1974	Wilfried Borges, the son of the company founder, master craftsman for mechanical engineering and graduated merchant, takes over the directorship of the company.
August 1974	A wide range of the production is beeing shifted to the new production halls in Seelze, where the company is still located today. For the time beeing the administration remains in Harenberg.
1981	The production area is beeing extended by building of production halls 3 and 4
1988	The administration is being shifted to Seelze
1989	Production hall 5 is built.
1991	Expansion of business to manufacturing and sales of tanks.
1991	Production hall 6 is built.
1997	Further expansion of business for the field of OE-Tubing-Systems
1998	Construction of production hall 7.
2002	Soot Particulate Filters are added to the product range.
2003	In 3rd Generation Sebastian Borges takes over the lead of the company.
2006 - today	BORGES Seelze is growing further and is your strong partner for exhaust technology and tanks...
